New Look For 2009-2010

During this administration, Florida was one of the first states to consider and implement "Online Registration" to be followed by "Online Course Scheduling" for all members. We have come a long way since then, listening to you and customers in an attempt to constantly improve our services.

In our quest to always be on the forefront of our sport, FSR has entered into a number of cooperative relationships with other states willing and able to cooperate with us in implementing our constantly evolving vision. This change in policy has already proven successful. This year FSR has changed its appearance and the way we will be providing services to you and our customers.

First, you will notice by visiting our home page at http://www.fsr-inc.com that it has a new look and feel. A constantly evolving dynamic page, it is intended as your "Gateway" to everything FSR has to offer. We will be constantly improving on that.

The menu button titled "Member Login to the Secure Server" is a major change we have made this year, which by the way, has met with overwhelming support by your administrators. Our intent always is to maintain the outmost security and protection for our data. We have accomplished that. This will be your secure portal for updating your personal information, registering for all classes, both physical and virtual (online), for requesting upgrades and for accessing your personal record within FSR.

Another major change this year is offering the Annual Recertification partially online which can be accessed from the menu button titled "Annual Recertification". We understand that seating for five (5) hours in a classroom may not be conducive to learning. However, we also know this is a Federation requirement. So we took two (2) of these five hours and prepared an online segment that is available for completion at each member's convenience but prior to seating for the test and for the classroom portion of three (3) hours. Every member, currently registered with FSR regardless of grade, needs to complete this online two (2) hour module before that member is permitted to register for the classroom portion. Assignors must complete both, this general two (2) hour module and the Assignor Annual Recertification Course which this year will be offered strictly online.

There are many more improvements to come. Until then, thank you for supporting FSR and our sport.
